When Ms. DeAngelis is not teaching at TNAA, she loves to read, walk and spend time with her children. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she received her BA and MA from Adelphi University in Long Island and is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Childhood Education.
Annika Jones – Partner Teacher
In addition to teaching Ms. Jones loves to read, run and hike. She received her BA from Gustav Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota and her MA from Whitworth University in Washington State—though originally she is from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho! Ms. Jones is a
candidate for National Board Certification.
Jennifer McSorley – Partner Teacher
Before joining the TNAA team Ms. McSorley spent two years in Guyana with the Peace Corps! Originally from Wooster, Ohio she received her BA from Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio and her MA from Columbia University’s Teachers College in Manhattan. Outside of the classroom Ms. McSorley loves to travel, row and read.
Chana Fuld – Apprentice Teacher
Hailing from Boston, Chana left the hub to join our TNAA team, here, in the big apple! She received her BA and MEd from the University of Maryland, and while she is not teaching Chana loves to run, ice-skate, play sports, write and spend time with her family and friends.
Deniece LaForest – Community Assistant When she is not working with children at TNAA, Ms. LaForest enjoys travelling, watching sports, and spending time her very large family, all of whom are from Trinidad and Tobago! Ms. La Forest attended South Shore H.S. and graduated with a degree in Public Administration from Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn.
