Nick joined The New American Academy in Fall 2009, and helped strategize and execute the launch of TNAA’s flagship school in Fall 2010. As Director of Operations, his current responsibilities include organizational strategy, school visits, media relations, and developing the TNAA model. He attended Boston College as a Presidential Scholar and National Merit Scholar, and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Psychology and English.
Yehudi joined The New American Academy in 2010. As the Director of Development his responsibilities include, improving and articulating the model, outreach and partnership development, and organizational strategy. He is currently completing his MA in Psychology and Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Yehudi received his undergraduate degree in Talmud from Oholei Torah Talmudical Seminary in Brooklyn, and was later ordained at the Rabbinical College of Pretoria, South Africa. As both Rabbi and teacher he has mentored across a diverse range of settings in South Africa, Israel, and the United States.
Lake Coreth – Postgraduate Intern lc.coreth@thenewamericanacademy.org A recent graduate, Lake attended Boston College as a Presidential Scholar. She earned her BA in History and Hispanic Studies, and graduated magna cum laude. During her senior year she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and awarded a U.S. Fulbright Grant to Argentina. Beginning in March 2012, Lake will spend her grant term teaching English as a Foreign Language and conducting research on the diaspora of immigrants of color in Argentine cities.
